Essential Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement of end-user hardware, software, accessories, and mobile devices and services.
- Process purchase requests, create purchase orders, track fulfillment, and coordinate timely delivery including expedited shipments and issue resolution.
- Support employee onboarding and ongoing workforce needs by provisioning equipment for new hires and managing refresh, replacement, and upgrade cycles for obsolete or damaged assets.
- Cookordinate software licensing, mobile provisioning, and service management in accordance with established standards and approved platforms.
- Partner with vendors to obtain quotes, manage pricing and negotiations, monitor performance, and resolve delays, discrepancies, or service issues.
- Maintain accurate asset and lifecycle records from procurement through deployment and decommissioning, while validating invoices and supporting accounts payable processes.
- Generate procurement and spend reports, ensure policy compliance, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Essential Skills and/or Certifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least two years of relevant experience in IT procurement, technology asset management, or a related field are required.
- Vendor and contract management experience, including quoting, pricing negotiations, and performance monitoring, is essential.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance requirements, including approval workflows, spend thresholds, and vendor onboarding standards, is necessary.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail are required.
- Familiarity with ticketing and service management platforms such as ServiceNow or equivalent tools is beneficial.
- Experience with ERP or procurement platforms such as Workday or equivalent systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI for spend analysis and procurement tracking is required.
- Familiarity with telecom lifecycle management platforms such as Tangoe Mobile, and device management tools such as Microsoft Intune (preferred).
- Experience supporting procurement operations in a distributed or multi-site environment is desirable.
