Technology People Strategy & Operations
Job Description
Visa is seeking a Technology People Strategy & Operations to join the People team. Reporting to the SVP, People Technology, this role acts as a strategic People advisor to senior Technology leaders and People Business Partners, ensuring strong alignment between Technology's priorities and the broader People team strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape long-term people strategies aligned to Technology and enterprise priorities.
- Serve as an internal human capital consultant, conducting organizational assessments and advising on workforce design, leadership effectiveness, and talent strategy.
- Lead strategic planning for the Technology People Team, including OKRs, multi-year priorities, and execution roadmaps.
- Bring external insight on HR innovation, future-of-work trends, organizational effectiveness, and workforce architecture.
- Build advanced data-driven insights using analytics, dashboards, forecasting, and GenAI-powered tools.
- Report key people metrics, trends, and progress to executive audiences, including for operational reviews and board/regulatory updates.
- Convert complex data into clear recommendations and action plans.
- Leverage GenAI to streamline processes, elevate insights, and improve decision-making.
- Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives with clear outcomes and measurable impact.
- Drive process and operating model improvements across Technology.
- Manage leadership meetings, including agenda design, content development, facilitation, and follow-up.
- Lead special projects such as promotion process modernization, early-career strategy, talent supply/demand modeling, and recruiting efficiencies.
- Partner with Business Planning on headcount, structure, and capability needs.
- Monitor organizational health, attrition, and workforce trends, diagnose root causes and recommend interventions.
- Continuously evaluate HR programs to ensure impact, effectiveness, and alignment to business needs.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
- Potential Preferred Qualifications: 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
The estimated salary range for this position is $170,700.00 to $ 273,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
