About the Role

Provide senior-level Architect DBA support for Oracle and SQL Server across on-premises and cloud environments. This position requires deep expertise in database architecture, tuning, automation, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver DBA support for Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Communicate with stakeholders to assess Oracle databases and host decommission readiness, then schedule decommission events.
• Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring high quality and resolution of complex database issues.
• Tune very complex, high-volume database problems with a thorough and systematic approach.
• Demonstrate deep working knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, SQL Server Always On, and emerging database technologies.
• Utilize tools such as Data Guard, OEM, Toad, AWR, and RMAN for database management.
• Implement backup and recovery procedures for Oracle and SQL Server.
• Work effectively within a large DBA team and maintain automation best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server architecture across multiple versions.
• Proven experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, SQL Server Always On, and automation.
• Familiarity with Data Guard, OEM, Toad, AWR, RMAN, and other DBA tools.
• Self-starter with the ability to drive issues to resolution.
• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders.
