Technology Lead | Database | Data Modeling

About the role

This position is for a Technology Lead with expertise in Database and Data Modeling, specifically a P&C Data Modeler. The work location is Richardson, TX 75082 or any other hubs in the US, with a hybrid onsite arrangement. Candidates willing to relocate to the client's location will be considered.

The contract duration is 6 months, with a target start date of August 10, 2026, and a maximum vendor rate of *** per hour. This position requires visa-independent candidates only.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise data models supporting P&C insurance business processes, analyzing business requirements, and translating them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation
• Working closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Architects, and Engineering teams
• Creating source-to-target mappings and ensuring data model alignment with business requirements

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience and possess the following skills:

• Must-have skills: Data Modeling, Property and Casualty Insurance
• Nice-to-have skills: AWS, Databricks
