Our progressive Team of architects, engineers, and designers in our Austin, TX office seeks a talented Technology Designer with experience in team leadership, direction, design, coordination, technical execution/oversight, and client relationships to start an exciting new service at O’Connell Robertson.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT AT O'CONNELL ROBERTSON

• Act as a client advocate.
• Be a subject matter expert who can present design options to our clients.
• Manage client relationships and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop designs for data distribution, audio/video systems, and security systems.
• Develop project scopes of work and manage budgets.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead meetings with the client, as needed during the design phases of the project.
• Create technical designs and specifications.
• Work with O’Connell Robertson AEI team mates to coordinate designs and quality assurance.
• Oversee provide quality control of installed infrastructure.
• Mentor growing designers.
• Develop and manage schedules.

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR NEW ROLE

• Skill level to lead technology design.
• Advanced design and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal are a must.
