Technology Architect | Telecom | OSS/BSS

About the role

Lead the planning and execution of a long-term development project for the Telecommunication account in Tampa, Florida. Own delivery governance from initiation through release: translate business objectives into an executable roadmap; align technical and business stakeholders; coordinate Java full-stack, React/Node.js, database, analytics and QA workstreams; monitor schedule, quality, budget and team capacity; maintain RAID logs and status reports; remove delivery blockers; ensure architecture, security, testing and release-readiness reviews are completed; and drive continuous improvement. The role is an individual-contributor Technical Project Manager position requiring hands-on technical discussions, clear executive communication, effective vendor/team coordination and accountability for predictable, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, plans, milestones, resource needs and delivery metrics
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change controls
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering, architecture, QA, business and onshore/offshore teams
• Lead sprint planning, backlog coordination, daily ceremonies, reviews and retrospectives
• Ensure architecture, security, testing and release-readiness reviews are completed
• Monitor schedule, quality, budget and team capacity
• Maintain RAID logs and status reports
• Remove delivery blockers
• Drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience
• BE degree required
• Proven experience leading end-to-end application development and delivery in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong technical understanding of Java full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices and React
• Working knowledge of Node.js, SQL and Oracle, including system integration, data flows, APIs and production-support considerations
• Strong stakeholder management, written and verbal communication, facilitation, problem-solving and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with modern AI technology stacks, including Copilot, Claude, Gemini Vertex and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
