About the role
Riveron is looking for an Associate Director to join our Technology and Innovation practice. This client-facing role will interact with key leadership (CFO, Controller, etc.) and will contribute to the areas of business development and sales, practice development, and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of client engagements, serving as the day-to-day point of contact for the client, guiding a team of consultants through the project lifecycle, and ensuring that high-quality projects are consistently executed on time and on budget.
- Develop and grow client relationships.
- Contribute to developing the practice by contributing to its growth and sustainability.
- Identify expansion opportunities on client engagements to cross-sell Riveron’s services.
- Assist in pre-sales meetings with current and prospective clients to assess project-level effort and determine if NetSuite is the best fit for their needs.
- Work with practice leadership to develop and deliver NetSuite-specific training, business development training, and collateral and engagement materials/templates.
- Execute projects by collaborating with the implementation team to develop effective and scalable NetSuite solutions, working directly with the implementation team to develop business requirements and translate them into specific NetSuite functionality, leading client workshops to define implementation strategies, and overseeing and leading engagement teams through all phases of a NetSuite ERP implementation or optimization project.
- Ensure completion of tasks, milestones, and components including but not limited to functional specifications, design specifications, configurations, quality assurance, implementations, and project reviews for engagements.
- Define integration requirements and collaborate with the integration team to interface other outside applications with NetSuite.
- Support business development and sales by identifying expansion opportunities on client engagements to cross-sell Riveron’s services and participating in pre-sales meetings with current and prospective clients to assess project-level effort and determine if NetSuite is the best fit for their needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS)
- 7+ years of implementation or optimization experience and prior experience with architecting ERP solutions on NetSuite
- Previous experience and ability to gather business requirements and effectively implement an ERP, CRM, & PSA solution
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Products
- Consulting experience in other business applications including QuickBooks, Intacct, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, and/or PeopleSoft (a plus)
- Software as a Service (SaaS) or Cloud experience (a plus)
- Certified NetSuite ERP consultant (a plus)

- Passionate about best practices and the ability to challenge the need for customization and not just using standard native functionality by configuring the platform
