Technology Advantage Senior Analyst

Location: Norfolk VA, USA (On-site)

Position Summary

GC2IT is seeking a Technology Advantage Senior Analyst to support NATO Allied Command Transformation. The position performs mission support defined for this labor category.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information and communication technology, or a closely related scientific or engineering discipline from a nationally recognised/certified university.
• Four years of related experience, or if lacking a degree, at least six years of extensive and progressive duties related to the function of the post.
• Two years' experience in the acquisition, assembly, and interpretation of research & technology information.
• Knowledge of S&T information sources in nations, such as defence research laboratories, academic institutions, media, and defence ministries.
• Experience interpreting future S&T and EDT-related information to assess how such technologies may be applied within the military environment and address current and future operational challenges.
• Practical experience with PC office automation products, including the use of the internet for information research.
• Ability to conduct analytical work on EDT documentation, identify adoption pathways, and develop practical examples of how emerging technologies can be applied to the conflicts of today and tomorrow.
• NATO Secret Security Clearance or national equivalent.
• Demonstrated proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001 (Standardized Linguistic Profile 3333 – Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) or equivalent.
• Active NATO, U.S., or national SECRET (or higher) security clearance as specified by the solicitation.
