Technologist - Weekend Days

About the Role

Performs imaging procedures and treatments aligned with radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Responsible for executing procedures accurately and safely, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring documentation compliance. Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, organized manner. Engages in performance improvement activities to uphold quality care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure/treatment plans following hospital protocols.
• Completes necessary documentation per policies.
• Maintains equipment and workspaces in a safe, clean condition.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Achieves assigned goals effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of specialty area experience to meet CT competencies.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R); CT registration preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• State license required; ARRT(R) certification mandatory; ARRT(CT) preferred.

Skills

• Strong computer literacy skills preferred.
