Job Responsibilities
- Affords assistance during surgical procedures by arranging, inventorying, and maintaining sterile setups.
- Passes required items to the surgical team as needed.
- Prepares the surgical suite and moves patients as necessary.
- Cleans the surgical suite after procedures.
- Provides support for exposing, maintaining patient stability, and other technical tasks to ensure a safe and effective operation.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of technologist with proof of graduation.
- At least 18 months of employment as a surgical technologist in a hospital or surgery center.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.
