Technologist - Radiology

Job Summary Operates radiology equipment to perform routine diagnostic procedures, supporting physicians in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Performs radiologic procedures following technical and safety standards as directed by a licensed physician.Uses judgment to select appropriate settings for each patient and develops treatment plans.Implements procedures in accordance with hospital protocols and documents all activities to ensure compliance.Maintains equipment and work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.Participates in performance improvement initiatives and collects quality data to monitor standards.Completes assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications Completed a Radiology Technology Program or equivalent.Eligible or registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.Preferred: an associate degree in a related field. Skills & Licenses Thorough understanding of radiologic principles and techniques.Ability to follow instructions, plan, and organize work effectively.Licensure required: ARRT certification, BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state license as applicable.
