Technologist - Mobile Mammography

Position Overview: Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment. Work may occur in mobile units, clinics, or hospitals. Key Responsibilities Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Operates mammography equipment and performs mammography procedures.Assists in developing community networks to coordinate mobile unit events and promotes mobile mammography services.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies and maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, tidy condition.Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Completion of accredited radiography program; registered with ARRT; current mammography certification (ARRT(M)).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area to meet mammography competencies. Additional Information: Candidates should have a thorough understanding of radiologic practices and excellent patient care skills.
