Technologist-Echocardiographer PRN

This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures according to radiology standards to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Include Understanding radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques, and ensuring optimal procedure outcomes.Developing and implementing treatment plans following hospital protocols.Accurately documenting procedures and maintaining equipment and work areas for safety and efficiency.Participating in quality improvement activities to ensure high standards of patient care. Qualifications And Skills Recent experience as a Sonographer; certification by ARDMS, CCI, RVT, or pending graduate registry.Basic computer literacy and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.Licensure with ARDMS/CCI or equivalent, with certification obtained within 12 months if a new graduate. Additional Requirements Ability to understand radiologic principles, develop treatment plans, and document thoroughly.Work involves sedentary to light physical demands, with occasional standing, walking, and handling objects.Environmental and sensory requirements include accurate vision, hearing, and color discrimination.Work may involve exposure to blood-borne pathogens, airborne diseases, and environmental hazards, with adherence to safety protocols. Supervisory And Work Environment Supervisory responsibilities include hiring, discipline, and promotion authority if applicable.Work environment may require physical activity such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.
