Technologist - CT

Role Overview: This position involves performing imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology standards to aid in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The role includes developing treatment plans, executing procedures utilizing hospital protocols, completing documentation, maintaining equipment and work areas, and participating in quality improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency in radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for optimal procedures.Develop and implement appropriate treatment or imaging plans.Complete accurate documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintain a neat and safe work environment for patients and staff.Participate in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.Ensure equipment and workspaces are properly maintained and safe.Participate in hospital and departmental training and quality initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Registered with ARRT in Radiography required; CT registry preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.Experience in the specialty area (minimum six months) or new graduates within specified timeframes.Strong understanding of radiologic principles, technical skills, and equipment maintenance.Proficiency in documentation and adherence to protocols.Basic computer skills and ability to participate in performance activities. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a clinical environment, participate in training, and maintain licensure. Supervisory responsibilities are position-dependent, with authority to hire, discipline, or recommend personnel actions if applicable.
