Technologist - CT

Job Summary Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Also performs additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Applies a thorough understanding of radiologic principles, choosing appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols.Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.Maintains equipment and work areas in a clean, safe condition to ensure patient and staff safety.Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold quality standards.Achieves assigned goals effectively. Qualifications And Skills Minimum 6 months of experience in the specialty area, meeting CT competencies.Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography required; ARRT in CT preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.Basic computer literacy skills required; additional technical skills preferred.State licensure as required; ARRT(R) certification mandatory; ARRT(CT) preferred.
