Schedule

Full Time, Non-exempt. Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 am–6:00 pm (Shift 1, Days). Weekend work: Every weekend. On-call: No.

Facility: BayCare Health System, CIC MRI-MPM SRVCS. Location: MPH Axelrod Pavilion, Clearwater, FL.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient screening, room set-up, and patient preparation for exams under the direction of the clinical manager.
• Prepare contrast for exams and load contrast injector as necessary.
• Provide patient education as instructed by the Imaging Technologist and document patient education in the electronic health record.
• Follow MRI Level II training requirements and standards where applicable.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to meet department turnaround times and maintain appropriate exam start times.
• Responsibilities may be expanded or restricted at the discretion of the manager based on patient volumes and department needs.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
• 1 year Hospital Transport or Hospital-related experience required (for inpatient/hospital position only)
• 1 year Business Related, Imaging Services, or Medical Office experience preferred
