TECHNICIEN ESSAIS/SAV EXPORT

About the role

Technicien Essais/SAV Export will prepare, test, repair, control and validate equipment, carry out price offers, advise clients, compile technical files and test reports, analyse test results, verify product conformity against specifications, diagnose malfunctions, perform adjustments and repairs, study specifications, determine control and test means, propose technical or procedural modifications, draft technical documents, ensure compliance with hygiene and safety rules, and complete manufacturing and quality documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test, repair, control and validate equipment
• Implement corrective actions or develop modification procedures as needed
• Prepare price offers
• Advise clients and respond to their needs
• Compile technical files and test reports
• Analyse test results
• Verify product conformity against specifications
• Establish malfunction or failure diagnostics
• Perform adjustments and repairs
• Study specifications
• Determine control, measurement and test means for machines
• Propose technical modifications or changes to test methods
• Draft technical documents
• Respect hygiene and safety instructions
• Complete manufacturing and quality documents

Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, mechanical principles, measurement and control instruments related to testing of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems and manufacturing methods
• Holder of a 2- or 3-year higher-education diploma in electrical engineering or automation
• Successful initial experience in an industrial environment
• Rigorous, organised and responsive
• Willing to travel (50% of time in France and abroad)
• Good level of English
