Technician - Truck and Bus Shop

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, electrical systems, and chassis components
• Perform scheduled maintenance and complex troubleshooting with precision
• Complete work orders, documentation, and time tracking accurately and efficiently
• Deliver high-quality work that meets customer expectations and deadlines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Use cutting-edge tools, systems, and technology to support your work
• Take ownership of your equipment and contribute to a strong team environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of hands-on diesel or mechanical experience
• Strong working knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrains
• Prior 5+ years of diesel experience (Caterpillar or Cummins a plus)
• Cummins certification or similar credentials

Skills

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical problem-solving ability
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and multitasking skills
• Clear communicator who works well with teammates and customers
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
• Willing to work overtime when needed to get the job done
