About the role

Saela’s purpose is to help people by building value with every interaction. This Pest Control Technician role focuses on conducting detailed home inspections, identifying pest concerns, and providing custom solutions for each customer. Teammates work daily routes with regular customers, applying various treatments, techniques, and inspections. The goal is to solve customers’ pest concerns while exemplifying customer service, maintaining relationships, and offering strategic recommendations. Clear communication with customers about findings, treatment plans, preventative measures, and resolutions is essential.

Pay

• Base pay of $30 to $40 per hour plus commissions & monthly bonuses
• Paid training at $25 per hour

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months customer‑facing experience
• Strong communication and time‑management skills
• Customer‑focused and self‑motivated
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing home inspections
• Experience with selling
• Experience in pest control, HVAC, solar, internet, cable, running an independent route, or other in‑home technician roles

Physical Demands / Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb
• Clean‑shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator)
• Comfortable entering crawl spaces and attics
• Comfortable using and moving a ladder
• Work outdoors in all types of weather
• Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations
