Responsibilities
- Sets up and tears down timing equipment for a variety of race events
- Runs the equipment and times the actual events
- Produces timing reports and results for all USSA/FIS sanctioned events
- Maintains and fixes all types of timing equipment and the wiring system
- Affords assistance in all other aspects of event/race production as needed, setting up gates, banners, removing any obstacles during the event
- Tears down gates, fencing, signage etc. as required at the close of the day or the end of race events
- On the job training and supervision by a very experienced timing technician will be provided and is part of the job
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent experience
- Computer literate, highly organized, accurate, precision and a strong math background a must
- Ability to effectively communicate with racers, race officials, coaching staff, co-workers and ski area guests
- Knowledge of race procedures and regulations desirable
- Good skiing or snowboarding skills required
- Ability to do general repairs on timing equipment and an electronics background strongly desirable

Hourly pay rate: $20.00 to $21.47
