Technician Team Leader

About the role

This position involves creating engaging retail displays, setting products according to planograms, and enhancing customer shopping experiences. It includes leading installation and troubleshooting of displays, kiosks, AV systems, and security devices, alongside light construction and fixture setup.

Responsibilities

• Design eye-catching merchandising displays and signage refreshes to influence customer interaction.
• Manage and install technical equipment, ensuring proper setup and troubleshooting.
• Document work via photos and videos, communicate progress with managers, and submit reports.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail or electronics merchandising experience.
• Ability to read and execute planograms confidently.
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to work independently.
• Comfort with physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders.
• Experience with hand and power tools; must have a cordless drill.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work weekends, overnights, and travel as needed.
• Ability to obtain power-lift/equipment certification within 30 days of hire.
