Essential Job Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle reconditioning and preventative maintenance on pre-owned inventory, including oil changes, tire replacement and rotation, wheel balancing, brake services, batteries, filters, and tune-ups.
- C Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns on used vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, HVAC, and drivability issues.
- Ensure vehicles meet dealership, manufacturer, and state safety standards prior to sale.
- Verify vehicle serviceability through road tests; adjust controls and systems as needed.
- Complete all repair orders accurately and efficiently in the CDK system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly using shop tools and equipment.
- Collaborate professionally with service advisors, parts department, and used car management to meet recon timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and certifications as required.
- Move and park vehicles throughout the dealership and outdoor lot as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Ability to complete repair documentation accurately.
