Technician Sterile Fill

About the role

This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces, and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Technician II, Sterile Production Operations (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for handling complex technical tasks in processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex technical tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, stills, filtration apparatus, and sterile filling equipment
• Manage raw materials and finished products
• Perform general maintenance
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain records
• Participate in quality checks and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure rigorous quality control, adhere to GMP regulations by strictly following SOPs, and maintain accurate and complete documentation
• Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements, contributing to the overall compliance of the organization

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

Location: Onsite, Fort Worth, TX

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Travel Requirements: 0 – 10%
