Technician Patient Care - Burn Unit -Full time Days

About the role

Make a lasting impression on patients in urgent need as a Patient Care Technician in the Burn Unit. Care for patients while you draw blood and take vital signs—where expertise and customer service make all the difference. Collaborate with a team of nurses to earn your reputation every day and Put Patients First.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and record patient vital signs including body temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Report abnormal findings and put patients at ease.
• Serve as the eyes and ears of our award-winning nursing team.

Requirements

• Experience as a Nurse's Aide or an equivalent role.
• High school diploma.
• Completion of an approved phlebotomy program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Energetic, approachable individuals with a desire to Put Patients First.
• Must live within a commutable distance to NYP; on-site presence required.

Pay

Salary Range: $33.80–$38.65 per hour.
