Technician - Nightshift (Contract)

About the role

Zipline is seeking a Technician who has sound judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, and high standards. Success will require attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance operations in the field by executing maintenance site visit plans
  • Mobile vehicle operations and driving, logistical coordination
  • Knowledge on specialized equipment and procedural operations
  • Adherence to all Zipline, OSHA, and DOT safety requirements
  • Aircraft and equipment handling, movement, and transport
  • Comply with all Zipline, OSHA, and DOT safety requirements
  • Use hand tools and other specialized equipment to support fleet maintenance operations
  • Drive and operate trucks and installed equipment to facilitate aircraft and support equipment transport
  • Aircraft operations, automotive, or logistics-related experience preferred
  • Prior experience in mechanical equipment operation, vehicle towing, or ground handling equipment is highly desirable

Requirements

  • Must be able to support shift work including, but not limited to, days/evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Must be able to travel 5-10%, as necessary
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 55 pounds
  • Must have a valid US Driver's License
  • Willing to work 45+ hours per week
  • Willing to work nightshift - 10pm - 7am

Benefits

The starting cash range for this role is $25/hour. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact.

Pay

The starting cash range for this role is $25/hour.

Schedule

This role requires mobile vehicle operations and driving, logistical coordination, and adherence to all regulatory and safety standards. The role also includes nightshifts from 10pm to 7am.
