Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and solution-focused attitude when addressing maintenance issues
• Make independent decisions concerning the return to service of production equipment
• Proficient in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, cutting tools, rigging, and diagnostic equipment
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of electrical & instrumentation systems, and mechanical systems
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team-oriented environment
• Effectively communicate, perform basic to intermediate mathematical calculations, follow written and verbal instructions, and use a computer
• Work overtime as required

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Associates degree or Technical Trade School training is preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Food related experience is a plus
