Technician Maintenance

About the role

The Technician Maintenance role within the High Purity Quartz Maintenance Team at Sibelco is responsible for taking preventive and curative actions, maintaining, repairing, and expanding installations to ensure production runs smoothly and operations are optimized.

Responsibilities

• Correctly interpret processes, drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams, procedures, etc.
• Signal malfunctions and improvements and register findings in the relevant IT system (Mendix)
• Mend repairs mechanical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic malfunctions

Requirements

• A2 Mechanics or equivalent by experience
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Knowledge of materials and techniques (lifting and hoisting techniques, welding techniques) with execution of operational activities
• Knowledge of general technical regulations and safety rules
• Certificate to drive the forklift
• Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English

• Eliminate injuries through 'Get to Zero' safety program
