Responsibilities
- Provide and apply technical expertise in the installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all process analyzers and their associated systems.
- Execute assigned work according to plan and schedule, noting any job plan deviations, and providing input on improvement opportunities.
- Ensure personal and co-worker safety, maintain a safe work environment, and comply with environmental regulations.
- Support maintenance operations by assisting supervision and operations in troubleshooting, configuring, and rebuilding process analyzers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all analyzers, review job scopes for completeness and understanding, acquire necessary parts and tools, and follow safety procedures.
- Update supervisors/Managers on job progress and address any issues encountered.
- Complete documentation using a computerized maintenance management system and respond to tasks with urgency.
- Engage in frequent developmental dialogues with supervisor and others to enhance personal and group performance and development.
Requirements
- AAS Degree in Analyzers or Instrumentation preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial I/E/A maintenance required.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office computer programs preferred.
- Working knowledge of Analyzers such as Siemens Maxum II GCs, ABB5000 GCs, Optichrom Advance GCs, Ametek WDG-V, Servomex 2200, Siemens NOxmat, Ultramat, and Oxymat, VCEMS, and HRVOC’s preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair process analyzers.
- Read P&ID's, Spec sheets, and loop sheets.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Willing and able to provide overtime coverage and respond to plant call-outs.
- Willing and able to work with hazardous and/or flammable chemicals with proper safety precautions, training, and equipment.
- Willing and able to work around and/or manually interact with heavy equipment.
- Willing and able to work outside, year-round under various weather conditions.
- Willing and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Willing and able to work in environments that require frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Willing and able to work in tight or confined spaces and able to work at heights above 25 feet by climbing stairs and vertical ladders.
- Willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
