About the role
Maintain, configure, check-in, and repair the company’s equipment resources in the warehouse. This includes completing the configuration (preparation), repair, and return of equipment in your assigned area of responsibility within the time frame specified by management.
Responsibilities
- Accurately scan equipment barcodes and enter quantity count data into TEAM when performing check-out or check-in tasks, ensuring data accuracy.
- Ensure the quality of all prepared equipment meets or exceeds company performance standards.
- Complete required company paperwork.
- Re-stock equipment correctly according to depot standards.
- Participate in loading and unloading equipment from delivery vehicles.
- Set up, operate, and break down client shows, including corporate events, tradeshows, exhibits, concerts, and theatrical productions.
- Perform all levels of work from level II.
- Perform related work as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in one of the following disciplines: lighting, video, rigging, and/or logistics.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade show, technical school, or post-high school training in a relevant field may substitute for experience.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to self-manage.
- Excellent knowledge of the technical principles of operation and maintenance of assigned electronic equipment.
- Understanding of workplace safety principles and practices.
- Familiarity with equipment within your department and how it integrates with the entire show.
- Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems.
- Proficiency in common computer productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and ability to learn PRG proprietary software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe motor vehicle operation.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
