TECHNICIAN III

About the role
The RRT Machining Technician II supports rapid prototyping and expedited manufacturing by setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce prototype and low-volume production components. This role works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality parts while meeting aggressive customer and development timelines.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related machining equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications.
- Perform machining, deburring, inspection, and documentation activities.
- Troubleshoot basic machining and setup issues.
- Support prototype and expedited production builds to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers on manufacturability and process improvements.
- Maintain equipment, tooling, and work areas in accordance with safety, 5S, and TEOA standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or prototype environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Proficient with precision measurement tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Pay
Competitive base salary: $65,600 - $93,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
