About the role

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking immediate hires for experienced diesel mechanics. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on diesel and gas engines, drivetrains, hydraulic, electrical, ignition, and pneumatic systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues using strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Maintain a clean driving record to ensure compliance with our safety culture.
• Operate company-owned equipment for free.

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in construction, heavy equipment, or equipment rental sectors.
• Experience with diesel and gas engines, drivetrains, hydraulic, electrical, ignition, and pneumatic systems.
• A DOT medical card is required, and we can assist with obtaining one if needed.
• A clean driving record is essential due to the on-call rotation.

We are looking for individuals who can solve problems and troubleshoot effectively. Candidates must have the necessary tools and skills to perform these tasks safely and efficiently.
