Responsibilities
- Install work area outlets for floor, modular furniture, and wall applications; terminate CAT 3 and CAT 5 jacks; mount faceplates and surface mount boxes; adhere to IES labeling standards
- Build and outfit closets including backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic hardware, and equipment grounding; complete all IDC connections including 110/66 blocks and patch panels
- Perform testing including continuity testing of horizontal and riser cable, volt-ohmmeter use, tone set operation, and troubleshooting of opens, crosses, shorts, and transposed pairs
- Identify active voice and data circuits
- Lead crew performance, provide on-the-job training, and coordinate personnel and timelines to meet project milestones
- Complete all IES paperwork accurately and on time including timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, and tool transfers
- Adhere to and actively participate in all company, customer, and industry safety and quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Self-motivated, professional, and positive in approach
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to read, write, and present effectively
- Proven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents including quality and reporting requirements
- Able to serve as the company liaison and interface directly with customer representatives
- Promotes company culture and mission to employees, vendors, clients, and business partners
- Supports process improvement initiatives
