Primary Job Duties

  • Perform skilled technical duties involving the repair, maintenance, adjustment, replacement, and installation of all types of HVAC-R systems.
  • Handle skilled technical duties related to the repair, maintenance, adjustment, replacement, and installation of the building automation system.
  • Perform skilled technical duties involving the repair, maintenance, adjustment, replacement, and installation of building pumps and electrical systems.
  • Conduct skilled technical duties involving the repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation of all types of lighting systems.
  • Repair and troubleshoot plumbing and electrical systems, including toilets, urinals, sinks, lights, outlets, and switches.
  • Perform skilled technical duties involving the repair, maintenance, adjustment calibration, replacement, and installation of all types of kitchen equipment.
  • Conduct repairs in all guest rooms and public areas.
  • Respond to guest requests and in-house maintenance needs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Use personal devices/cellular phones for job-related operational tasks, job duties, and review of company documents.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional service and recovery skills when working with internal and external guests.
  • Mastery in interpreting maintenance instructions, sketches, plans, blueprints, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, busy, and sometimes stressful environment; maintain physical stamina, a positive mental attitude, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Able to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • OSHA 10/30, CPO, or EPA Certifications.
  • Minimum Education And Experience: At least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of four years of prior experience as a Facilities or Maintenance Technician in a similar or related field.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Regulations: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following: Nevada Driver’s License Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting/standing. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, crawl and stand for an extended period. Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs. Eye/hand coordination. Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
