Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installs equipment including but not limited to IP based cameras, antennas, detectors, network equipment, controller cabinets.
  • Install and troubleshoot electrical conductors, data conductors, fiber optic cables.
  • Uses in-house software to troubleshoot system issues.
  • Terminates conductors to equipment including CAT6 cables.
  • Connects electrical conductors to power services to energize equipment.
  • Tests multiple devices to ensure they work correctly.
  • Enters detailed information on electronic work orders.

Education and Skills

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Associate’s degree desirable.
  • Skills you will grow and perfect in this position: Repair skills, Network troubleshooting, Systems troubleshooting, Electronics troubleshooting, Technical documentation, Electrical Bench Test Equipment / Instruments, Soldering skills, Microsoft Software, Servers, Active Directory, Installation skills.

Desired Skills

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
