Technician II

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Technician II to join our team. Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain intermediate understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing equipment repairs.
- Intermediate experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gas engines.
- Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems is preferred.
- Must have the necessary tools to perform the scope of equipment repairs.
- Welding experience is strongly preferred.
- Must maintain industry and Sunstate safety standards while performing equipment repairs.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the position.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with heavy construction equipment or rental equipment strongly preferred.
- Intermediate experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gas engines.
- Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems is preferred.
- Middle-level understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
- Must have the necessary tools to perform the scope of equipment repairs.
- Must have intermediate understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel, and gas engines.
- Must have experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems.
- Must have welding experience.

Pay
Pay Range: $28 - $34+ per hour; Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus
Schedule
Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7AM - 5PM (Overtime Eligible)
