Technician II
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance and repair services to vehicles.
- May concentrate on specific areas of the company's fleet such as delivery trucks, or service a variety of vehicles.
- Diagnostics vehicle problems, estimates and prices out repairs, and orders parts as necessary.
- Maintains a safe work area.
- May train apprentices in the trade.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Previous experience in automotive repair or maintenance. Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and tools. Ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including but not limited to lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing.
Skills
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment. Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Pay
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Variable schedule to meet the needs of the business. Overtime may be required.
