Technician II

About the role

As a Technician II, your goal will be to calibrate, set-up, and use measurement and test equipment. You will measure and record data for assigned projects, draft reports, and communicate results by performing a variety of routine assignments of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

• Perform various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment.
• Fabricate prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing.
• Measure and document all aspects of tests, including objectives, procedures, results, and conclusions.
• Compile and compute a variety of engineering data; may analyze test and design data and prepare reports.
• Make recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures, and/or specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Three years of experience working with small/large engines, engine-powered equipment, or industry-related products.
• Ability to set-up, calibrate, and use sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create technical documents.
• Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
