About the role
Microchip Technology Inc. is a market leader in designing, manufacturing, and marketing Frequency Control, Sensor, and Hybrid Product solutions. The Mount Holly Springs facility provides solutions for Satellite Constellations, Deep Space Exploration Missions, Military Systems, GPS, Communication Networks, and more.
Responsibilities
- Identify, read, and interpret process documentation to perform a variety of automated testing
- Interpret test data to determine pass / fail test results
- Troubleshoot test failures, equipment malfunctions, and product issues to determine root cause and support corrective actions
- Operate test equipment (multi meter) and automated test systems
- Basic soldering of surface mount components
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications
- Required: 0–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing, production, or mechanical environment preferred, but not required
- Quality and safety minded
- Detail-oriented and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic PC skills, math skills, and product knowledge
- Basic electronic / electrical knowledge or understanding
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
