Entry-level role focused on packaging manufactured products, following electronic batch records, and adhering to standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Follow electronic batch records, enter Oracle transactions, and document requirements in equipment logs.
- Operate packaging equipment HMIs and motorized equipment for line operation.
- Run packaging equipment efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure all product and components are staged before production and return excess to inventory.
- Clean packaging rooms and equipment following sanitation procedures.
- Perform quality checks on labels and codes; report defects and change labels as needed.
- Inspect finished product continuously to identify defects.
- Package finished product in boxes promptly.
- Follow department GMPs, SOPs, and batch records.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 0–1 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Basic math skills for inventory control.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Basic computer skills.
