Key Job Elements Works with new and used railroad bearings; Duties encompass inspecting parts and assembly line type duties to recondition freight car bearings; Operate overhead cranes and forklifts; Ability to work 1st shift (Mon - Fri 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) or 2nd shift (Mon - Thurs 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM) with overtime and weekends required. Education / Training High School Diploma or GED required. Qualifications And Experience Prefer 6 months experience as machine operator, will consider equivalent school/training; Must be able to perform quality inspections; Read precision instruments and gauges; Capable use of hand tools; Work around overhead cranes and mobile equipment; Work as an effective team member; Working safely is a condition of employment.
