Technician Helper

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and quality procedures
• Certified to operate Forklift
• Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components
• Returning Valves/Parts to Proper Bins, Boxes, etc.
• Operating equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.)
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Maintaining equipment in area, as required
• Helping in field assignments
• Operating motor vehicle
• Attending job and safety training, as necessary or required

Positional Requirements & Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
  • Current or up-to-date TWIC (preferred)
  • Current Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred)
  • Job specific degree and/or certification (preferred)
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Safety and quality-minded
  • Basic mechanical aptitude including, but not limited to, basic hand and power tool knowledge
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills
  • Able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
  • Must clear background check and drug/alcohol screening

Essential Physical Functions

• Lifting: up to 50 pounds
