Technician - Generator PM Field

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and performs service and/or repair jobs on engines, generators, diesel and or gas engines, transfer switches, switch gear, and etc. in the field using proper tools and procedures.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met.
• Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Adheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years or more of mechanical experience with engines/generators.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Prior experience with engines/generators, preferably Caterpillar equipment.
• 5 years or more experience with engines/generators, preferably Caterpillar equipment.
• Experience with transfer switches, switch gear, uninterrupted power source (UPS) equipment.
