Technician, Field Svc I

About the Role

Reporting to your manager, you will document product failure trends and serviceability issues with necessary supporting documentation, ensuring accurate information and record keeping. You will meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, and on-site maintenance. You will properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned to you. You will showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills while maintaining the performance of assigned machines and facilitating performance at a level which helps achieve the branch/district's overall metric targets.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of internet environments
• Ability to successfully complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class
• Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary)
• Must take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling)
• This is a customer-facing role and requires compliance with customer policies and protocols
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not pursued or supported)
• Must reside in the United States at the time of hire

Pay & Schedule

• Anticipated rate: $20.00 - 26.31 hourly
• This role is eligible for a transportation allowance
• Full-time on-site position requiring full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on scheduled work days
