Technician Field Services I
About the role
As a Field Service Technician, you will maintain and service IGT equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. You will respond to dispatches, drive to customer sites within a designated zone, and handle the installation, removal, or repair of lottery equipment and communication devices.
Responsibilities
- Transport, install (if applicable), and maintain IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other materials in an organized manner.
- Attend driver training and adhere to IGT’s vehicle policy for the use and maintenance of the company vehicle.
- Maintain equipment to ensure continuous operation of IGT systems.
- Troubleshoot and restore malfunctioning equipment in the field, including swapping failed components, cleaning, or making minor adjustments.
- Communicate effectively with Dispatchers, accurately reporting activity, arrival/departure times, and details of equipment failures and resolutions.
- Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts (e.g., paper, ribbons, betslips) and track inventory.
- Provide basic training to new Retailers or refresher training to those needing procedural corrections (e.g., changing paper and ribbon).
- Complete forms for reporting activities, equipment issues, and recommendations for procedural improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service-related position.
- 1+ years of experience in technical repairs.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to correctly perceive colors.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb a ladder and lift/carry equipment up to 50 pounds over significant distances (e.g., from a vehicle to a retailer’s location or rooftop).
- Ability to sit and drive for prolonged periods, demonstrate dexterity with tools, and work with moving parts/electrical current.
- May work at heights (e.g., rooftops), in close quarters, or be exposed to inclement weather during installations.

Pay
The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $22.37–$27.96 USD per hour, based on skills, experience, education, and geographic location. Actual compensation may vary.
