Technician Fiber Installation

What You’ll Do

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone based on guidelines.
• Install, set up, and configure all equipment.
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer‑perceived issues.
• Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on‑call/after‑hours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license (cannot be provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• Physical abilities to routinely work at heights, enter attics and crawl spaces, operate a vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, perform fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance; occasional use of ladder, keyboard, and mouse.
