Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone services according to guidelines.
• Install, setup, and configure all necessary equipment.
• Identify and resolve sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review and discuss requested services with customers to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Provide education on product and service usage to customers.
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicles and equipment.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Occasionally perform work in attics, crawl spaces, and on poles.
• Occasionally use ladders and gaffs for climbing poles.
• Occasionally use a keyboard and mouse.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform tasks in remote locations and under various physical conditions.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• A High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• A valid State driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Physical abilities to operate heavy machinery, climb stairs, lift more than 55 pounds, and work alone in remote locations.
