Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone based on guidelines
• Install, setup, and configure all necessary equipment
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement
• Provide education on product and service usage to customers
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicles and equipment
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed
• Perform tasks in various locations, including attics and crawl spaces
• Occasionally use ladders, keyboards, and mice

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Routinely work at heights, enter attics and crawl spaces, and work alone in remote locations
• Occasionally use ladders, keyboards, and mice

Qualifications

Physical abilities and exposures:

• Routinely: work at heights, enter attics and crawl spaces, and work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
