Technician-Electronic-Level 3
About the role
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of electronic systems that are vital to our operations. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Performs assignments of an advanced nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
- Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Repair and calibrate pneumatic field instrumentation.
- Repair and calibrate electronic field instrumentation.
- Excellent electrical/instrument troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of PLCs.
- Properly use high voltage test equipment.
- Re-fuse high voltage lines.
- Remove and repair switchgear.
- Properly size and install wire and conduit.
- Troubleshooting electrical/instrument issues.
- Working knowledge of process control fundamentals.
- Know PID tuning fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of DCS systems.
- Working knowledge of motors and motor controls.
- Know and troubleshoot various types of lighting, lighting fixtures, and photocells.
Requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrumentation and Electrical systems maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical components and systems.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment used in I&E troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to electronic systems.
