Technician-Electronic-Level 3

About the role

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of electronic systems that are vital to our operations. Your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Performs assignments of an advanced nature requiring use and application of standard maintenance methods and tools.
• Read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Repair and calibrate pneumatic field instrumentation.
• Repair and calibrate electronic field instrumentation.
• Excellent electrical/instrument troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of PLCs.
• Properly use high voltage test equipment.
• Re-fuse high voltage lines.
• Remove and repair switchgear.
• Properly size and install wire and conduit.
• Troubleshooting electrical/instrument issues.
• Working knowledge of process control fundamentals.
• Know PID tuning fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of DCS systems.
• Working knowledge of motors and motor controls.
• Know and troubleshoot various types of lighting, lighting fixtures, and photocells.

Requirements

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrumentation and Electrical systems maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of Instrumentation and Electrical components and systems.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment used in I&E troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to electronic systems.
