Technician - Level 3
About the role
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Conduct advanced diagnostics and make complex repairs
- Work safely and effectively to minimize equipment downtime
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired
- 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment, heavy equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to provide tools of the trade
- Physical demands include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job

Pay
Base pay range: $22.85 - $31.41 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
