Technician - Cylinder Sorter

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Technician - Cylinder Sorter for their facility in Morrisville, PA.

Responsibilities

• Sort cylinders for fill or rehab work
• Inspect cylinders for DOT information, retest date, valve type, valve damage, dents, burn marks, and other damage
• Blow down all industrial cylinders
• Safely palletize cylinders and ensure proper number of cylinders per pallet
• Transfer cylinder pallets to correct storage areas
• Tag cylinders for tracking
• Identify and tag all cylinders in need of rehab work
• Safely operate forklifts and hand jacks to move cylinder pallets
• Receive, label, and move new cylinders
• Assist with warehouse operations by loading and unloading ½ ton containers, vendor fill, and COC cylinders
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance such as painting cylinders, labeling cylinders, and cleaning of work area
• Complete all job requirements in a manner that is consistent with company’s Policies and Procedures, including POIS and all Safety Procedures

Requirements

• A High School Degree/GED
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift truck and hand jack
• 1+ years of experience in plant or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong mechanical background desired
• Must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must be able to pass a background check
